Jean-Jacques was born to Jodoigne (Belgium) on November 11th, 1953. Painter of the 80s, he is self-taught and evolves in the constructivist abstract art, which we call so abstracted cold or geometrical abstract. Among the artists who influenced his work, we notably find Jo Delahaut. With him and some other friends, he participates in the creation of the magazine "Mesures". His preference goes to the primary colors, while looking for subtle tones, mixtures, superimposing around nuances of yellow, purple, of red particularly. He looks for the harmony on the verge of a certain imbalance, both in the colors and in the forms, the lines, the volumes. |
